We are looking for a Senior Sales Trainer to join our Global Enablement team in Singapore, reporting to the Senior Director, Global Sales Training. You will be responsible for developing and delivering Sales Skill and Sales methodology training for our internal and channel partner worldwide sales force. This is a highly cross–functional and collaborative role where you will interact with Sales, Product Development, and Marketing teams to develop training requirements and deliver programs to meet the needs of the direct and indirect sales force. What you’ll do:
- Work directly with our Sales Enablement leadership and Sales Management team to develop new training content, and internalize and prepare for delivery of new programs
- Deliver onboarding and ongoing sales training programs effectively, achieving high scoring evaluation ratings and feedback
- Proactively identify areas of improvement by working closely with the Sales team to identify challenges they face on the job
- Provide one-on-one coaching to go-to-market (GTM) teams to improve their skills and achieve their sales targets
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of training materials and suggest improvements
- Develop and deliver blended learning methodologies, including instructor led training (ILT), virtual instructor led training (VILT), and e-learning
- Assist in organizing and driving a worldwide sales training program to a Sales audience of diverse backgrounds
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in enterprise field sales at in high tech corporations selling enterprise and/or mid-market solutions
- 5+ years of experience in sales enablement working with GTM teams at a global organization; selling networking and security solutions is a plus
- Experience with instructional design and delivery required to keep the curriculum up to date with product enhancements, new technologies and trends in training
- Strong writing and presentation skills that contribute to the transfer of market insight, technological advantage, and effective sales techniques
- Experience working with various geographies to standardize sales tactics to allow for the creation of a single, comprehensive and scalable sales training program
- Excellent knowledge of cyber security and networking technologies
- Experience in MEDDPICC and other sales process methodologies
- Experience with Force Management Command of Message value framework
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, classroom delivery, and management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience in sales, sales enablement or sales training
What success looks like:
After six months, you will…
- Formulate a global sales training delivery plan
- Provide leadership in delivering the monthly new hire Sales training program
- Establish strong working relationships with relevant Product Management and Marketing colleagues
- Provide insights and guidance for corporate selling skills training programs
After about a year, you will…
- Establish your brand and strong working relationships with Sales leadership
- Build a global sales training, including strategy, program(s) timeline, and delivery roadmap
- Launch a front-line manager (FLM) training program for global sales
